A short, self-guided, walking tour of the statues of Copenhagen

Perhaps the purpose of this statue is to warn visitors that it's a bit nippley... I mean nippy outside. (Joke blatantly stolen without permission from Christmas Vacation).

Still chilly.

So many bridges over petite waterways.
This stone carving was incredible.

No idea what any of this said.

Very precise.

Awesome statue, unfortunately under construction at its base.

Straight shot of the same statue.

1852... not as old as I thought it would be.

There it is... the most famous statue in Copenhagen...

A little closer...

Much closer...

More straight on angle...

A little further...

Surprise! Me with the statue...

Me with the statue, but a little less surprised...

A distant shot of the statue so you can get a feel for how small it actually is...

Cool plaque on a monument.

Stack of cannon balls in the monument. Distant shot of the monument. Close-up of the bottom front part. Made from actual cannons.

Another shot of the monument. Monument's plaque.

Pretty flowers (plural).

Pretty flower.

Pretty flower take 2.

It was drizzling on the way back to the ship and when I looked down I realized that the sidewalks were COVERED in snails. Too cool.

A bust. Literally not figuratively.
