Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...

With $4,248.86 to my name, I am headed to Los Angeles tomorrow to see what I can piece together and call the start of a career. The five-day trip across the country in a (hopefully) trusty Penske Truck with my mom will test me in many ways: primarily, as you have already guessed, patience. But I am in incredible debt to her and my father for making this endeavour possible. We leave in 7 1/2 hours, so rather than get a good night's sleep, I plan to watch a movie in bed and eagerly exhaust the last sliver of privacy I will have for 10 days.
